77202V - Integrating and Configuring IP Office™ Platform (April 8th-11th)

The Avaya IP Office™ Platform Technical Associate Implement (ASTA-7720) validates that the candidate has passed the technical skill assessment (online test) to implement, configure  and troubleshoot the installation of the specified Avaya product or product family. The Technical Associate installs hardware and software, configures the solution, performs initial administration and acceptance testing to diagnose and correct installation issues.

The credential is issued without an expiration date until the program retires and available to Avaya Partners, Customers and Associates.

To obtain the credential the following needs to be met:

  • Identifying the hardware and software components of a IP Office Platform solution

Recommended Prerequisite Knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) fundamentals
  • Basic knowledge of Voice over IP (VoIP) technology

This class will begin each day at 8:30 AM and will end at 4:30PM Eastern. Space is limited to only 8 students. This class will fill quickly.

  • Each participant will require three (3) Avaya J Series SIP phones, this can be any combination of  J159, J169, J179, J189.
  • PoE switch to power the phones
  • Internet Access with DHCP to the public internet for phone and lab environment
  • Recommendation of utilizing dual monitors, while not a requirement, will allow for presentation and lab connectivity on different screens
  • Administrative privileges on their PC to be able to load AnyDesk software
