8X8 Cloud Business Development Manager
LOCATION : Avon, Ohio
WORK HOURS : 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
COMPENSATION : Base Salary, plus bonus
REPORTS TO : Sr. Manager, Cloud Solutions
Work authorization : United States (Required)

Communicate and deliver 8X8 and Jenne’s Cloud value proposition to Jenne’s existing and new reseller base, inside & outside sales teams.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business/marketing/sales, or 4+years of relevant sales experience
  • Minimum of 4 plus years of sales experience
  • Product background knowledge of, telephony, video conferencing and unified communications a plus
  • Experience with B2B sales
  • Must be a highly motivated and possess a personal commitment to the success of the sales organization and goals?
  • MS Office - 2010 (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and PC fluency required

  • Supervisory Responsibilities
    This position has no supervisory responsibilities

    Communicate and deliver the vendor’s value proposition to Jenne’s existing and new reseller base, inside & outside sales teams. The roles and responsibilities of the 8x8 Business Development Manager may include but are not limited to:
    Execute the sales strategy for 8X8 Services
    • Convert existing partners from marketing and selling competitive brands to 8X8 Services
    • Increase MRR of 8X8 partners through enablement efforts
    • Identify, develop and establish relationships with new partners
    • Drive business development activity and be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual business targets
    • Heavy outbound business development calling and networking to hunt for and identify new partners
    • Recruit, onboard, train, mentor and motivate new partners on 8X8 Services
    • Responsible to report on the progress of activities and the results at the frequency established by management
    • Work with 8x8 partners to manage and drive pipeline opportunities to revenue
    • Understand 8X8’s key initiatives, services and vertical markets served and effectively position the value to partners
    • Work with Jenne and 8X8 sales teams to expand transacting partner base
    • Identify and recruit focus partners
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

    Develop relationships with partners and Jenne sales teams
    • Develop a “Focus” partner list through profiling and field engagement efforts
    • Drive quarterly planning and business reviews with key growth partners and 8X8 sales team
    • Assist 8X8 sales team to qualify, drive and track closure of pipeline opportunities with partners
    • Establish relationships and regular communication with 8X8 sales teams
    • Develop engagement plan between 8X8 and Jenne sales teams
    • Engage with key partners using video conferencing, audio conferencing and trade shows

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% travel is required for this position, overnight travel and stays may be expected.

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
    • Ability to sit a computer terminal for long periods of time
    • Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location
    • Ability to lift 20 pounds.
    • Ability to travel up to 10 percent of the time.
