Michael Gottwalt Honored on Inaugural Channel Futures Channel Leaders List

Michael Gottwalt is among the 20 honorees on the first Channel Futures Channel Leaders list for cloud. The list recognizes these individuals as leaders who will determine the future of the channel as they redefine the partner-supplier relationship.
The cloud channel leaders were selected based on their companies’ market share, growth potential, strength of partner network, scope of partner program and the individual’s impact on the partner ecosystem.

This list is the sixth of seven that have been unveiled one by one through the end of this year. The first list, recognizing channel leaders in security, was unveiled on Oct. 18, channel leaders in networking and connectivity were named on Nov. 1, channel leaders in EMEA were named on Nov. 15, channel leaders in communications and collaboration were named on Nov. 22 and channel leaders in managed services were named on Dec. 15. The final list will honor senior partner executives in distribution. The lists will be produced on an annual basis and expanded into other industry segments.
The channel leaders lists, compiled by Channel Futures editors, are intended to provide the partner ecosystem with an in-depth look at each industry segment and spotlight those individuals responsible for the strategic direction of partner-facing organizations. As the nature of the channel changes, partners are developing deep ties with numerous suppliers in each technology solution segment they support. The channel leaders lists will identify the executives with whom they should establish strong relationships going forward.
